Luke 9:51-62

For a lot of us, we love comfort in life, but it might be an obstacle to following the Lord. So how can we be at peace with letting go of the world’s comfort and taking the “road less traveled” in following Jesus?

Jesus addresses the obstacles to following Him.

Superficial

“Foxes have holes, birds have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” v 58

Timing is

“Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” v59

Divided

“Lord, let me follow you but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.” v61
