╬ The Good News of Jesus spreads through real, imperfect people by the direction and power of the Holy Spirit, to real and imperfect people. What imperfect person shared the gospel with you? To what real, imperfect person has the Holy Spirit directed you to share the gospel in the past? Is there a person with whom the Holy Spirit has called you to share the good news this week?

╬ In this chapter, it is impossible to count the incidental bystanders who also heard the gospel truth that Jesus saves. As the church of Jesus becomes established in Philippi (read Paul’s letter to the Philippians) it is good to remember these bystanders. Some of them surely were transformed by the saving grace of Jesus. Who do you know who is still a bystander? Lift them to the Most High God. May the Spirit of Jesus continue his wooing work.
