GREETINGS

The North Summit family strives to make you feel welcomed wherever you are on your faith journey. Maybe you have been in church your whole life or maybe this is the first time you have considered attending; either way, there is a place for you here.

YOUTH & KIDS

We offer dynamic programming for kids ages birth-6th grade. We currently have all nursery, preschool, and elementary classes during our 9:30 service. We also offer nursery and preschool only during our 11:00 service. If you are visiting us for the first time, please visit the Family Lobby.

Jr. High and High School students attend the Sunday services and meet together for Youth Group on Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Summit After School is a drop-in after school program for 1st-6th grade students. We offer a fun afternoon including a homework time/education activities, meal, group game, craft and life lesson. SAS is every Tuesday and Thursday (during LPOSD school year) 2:30 to 5:00 pm. If you would like more info or would like to serve please contact Nate Lacy.

Royal Rangers is an activity-based ministry for boys K-12th grade. Its mission is to evangelize, equip and empower the next generation of men to become Christ-like servant leaders. Please join us from 4-6 pm every Sunday in the South Building.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Lost in the ’50’s BBQ - Friday, May 19th
Come join us Friday, May 19th at 5:00 for a BBQ while you watch classic cars cruise down the street. All the proceeds of this BBQ are going to support students going to summer camp. On the menu are polish dogs, hamburgers and all the works to go on them. All forms of payment are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Membership Class - Sunday, May 28th
If you are interested in partnering with us in membership or if you just want to learn about North Summit Church, then join us for the next Membership Class. The class is a great opportunity to learn about our vision, mission, methodology, basic Biblical teaching positions, and what we would expect of you as a member. The class concludes with a community luncheon that will give you the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and some of our staff and elders. Reservations are required for this class which will be held Sunday, May 28th from 9:30-10:30am in the South Building upstairs.

Baptism - Sunday, May 28th
If you haven’t taken the bold step of being immersed in Christian baptism and you have been wanting to do so, now is the time. The baptistry will be available Sunday, May 28th immediately following the third service for you to take your first step in discipleship. If you are interested or want to learn more about being baptized, check “Baptism” on your Connection Card or contact the church office.

Men’s Breakfast - Saturday, June 10th
Saturday, June 10th, you will have the opportunity to connect with other men and be inspired by a message from one of our Pastors. Join us at 8am with a friend and an appetite. Please RSVP by writing “men’s breakfast” on your Connection Card or by stopping by the Men’s Ministry table in the Connection Hall.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is every Tuesday Night at 5:30 pm for dinner and 6:15 pm for meeting at The Assembly Church 423 N. Lincoln Avenue, next to Travers Park.
