— THE TIMES OF THE GENTILES - Nebuchadnezzar’s dream

CHART 3/LESSON 11

Daniel 2:31-45

Within the dream, God revealed who would rule over the land of Israel while Israel was in

captivity.

Daniel, a prophet of God was asked to

In the dream a stone struck the feet and

The image was destroyed and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floor, which the wind carried away.

This stone became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

Daniel’s interpretation of the dream:

The Head of Gold was

which was ruling the Jews and the world at the time of the dream. This kingdom lasted from B.C. to B.C.

The Breast and Arms of Silver was the dual kingdom of the

— SIGNS OF THE ENDTIME

CHART 4/LESSON 11

The 24th chapter of Matthew gives us insight towards the endtime.

Jesus tells his disciples some of the major events that would happen in the last days. Some of these events are listed in this chapter.

First in verse 4, Jesus gave them a severe warning saying, “…Take heed that no man deceive you”.

Verse 5 tells us “Many shall come in my name, saying, I am

, and shall
deceive many”. This is why a person must know the Word of God to find the truth among the many religious ideas.

Verse 6 lets us know that there will be “…

and rumours of wars”.

Verse 7 points out that

shall rise against nation, and against kingdom”. will occur often in various places.

Verse 38 mentions the fact that people will be active seeking out the pleasure of

and drinking. And divorce will become common.

While life is active with these events, many will not be aware of the

of the Lord Jesus.

Notice what the Apostle Paul wrote in II Timothy 3:2-5 about the signs of the last days and instructed us with the warning “…from such turn away”.

— JESUS COMES FOR HIS CHURCH

CHART 5/LESSON 11

I Thessalonians tells us of the great

that is ahead for the Bride of Christ, the church. This hope is commonly called “the of the church”.

Read I Thessalonians 4:13-18

The Lord Jesus again speaks of this time in Matthew 24:40-42 with a warning to those who are not

for this rapture of the church.

Speaking about this wonderful reunion with the saints of God, the Apostle Paul writes in Titus 2:11-13 we are to be “…

for that blessed hope,…”.
