How do I know when a need is my assignment?

3 ways that you can hear the will of God:

Does it line up with Scripture? What does God’s Word say about it?

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is

and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Listen to the Holy Spirit. What do I sense God’s Spirit is saying to me?

John 16:7 (AMP)

But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the

(Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you].

Seek Wise and Godly Counsel. What do trusted people in my life think about it?
