10+Days+-+2022+Posters+-+City+(820+×+312+px).jpg10 DAYS OF PRAYER: 10 Days of prayer is a prayer meeting for your whole city. The goal is a season where Jesus Christ is the focus of every heart in your geographical area for 10 entire days! 10 Days 2022 is from September 25 - October 5, 2022 and is celebrated simultaneously in cities and towns around the world on an annual basis. 10 Days is a tangible step of obedience and it includes worship, prayer, fasting, and fellowship among believers with a focus on repentance, humility, praying for God’s promises, and mourning for our sins and the state of our world. It is a call to stop and rest in the presence of God, seek God’s face, and devote yourself to prayer in unity with others for 10 Days. We ask you to see how God would use these 10 days in your life and ask you to join us on September 28th and October 5th at 6:30pm for our normal weekly prayer time in which we will spend special attention to this global celebration.

We do have some specific positions that need to be filled:
1 more game leader
2-3 people willing to teach a lesson to the kids (likely as a large group)
2-3 people to do a craft activity with the kids (likely as a large group)
6-8 volunteers to follow and assist specific age groups (Cubbies, Sparks, TNT) in their book time
Prayerfully consider if you feel led to fill any of these roles to help make our AWANA season happen please let Ken Stewart at covenant72@gmail.com or Kelly Holdridge at kholdridge5@gmail.com know as soon as possible.

Missions.jpgMISSION TEAM: Our mission team works primarily with six different missionaries both locally and all over the globe. They also work with other mission related issues that arise that we can come alongside and support as a church. If God has put on your heart to become more involved with missions at LHCC or if you would like more information about any of our missionaries, please see Camy McGowan or send her an email at Camymncox@gmail.com.

MISSION MONTHLY FOCUS: The Mission team wants to take time this month to recognize and focus on LHCC supported missionaries John & Marion Andrews working with Arab World Ministry of Pioneers. The Lord has been at work in the Arab world and John & Marion are on the front lines of that work. They minister to students, individuals seeking asylum, as well as others in need of the Gospel. Take some extra time this month to pray for and maybe learn more about them and their ministry.

MISSIONARY PRAYER CORNER: Please keep our LHCC supported missionariers, Oded & Bimini Cohen ministering in Israel. Pray for God to open doors for Oded to share the gospel and pray for the Bedouin Muslims he hands out clothes and food to each week. Pray for God to present new strategies for them to replace “The Shalom House” that they recently had to close as a result of insufficient supervision for the tenants and that this new housing would reach people being discipled and not used as a spark to interest people in God. Pray for their new ministry starting in New Hampshire that will train and disciple men and women and who’s goal is to permeate that region with the Gospel of Christ.

PERSPECTIVES FALL 2022: The next offering of “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement” will be virtually this fall on Mondays beginning September 12th. It was not just created to mobilize people for overseas global work but also designed for discipleship training within the church to help fulfill God’s mission to the nations. The class cost is $250 Key Reading/Certificate Level or $550 for College Credit. For more information or to register Contact Todd at either riperspectives@gmail.com or (401)749-3949.
