Read James 3:13-18 and focus on the differences
-Was there anything from the passage or Sunday’s message that confused you, challenged you, or encouraged you toward a next step with God? What was it?

DIGGING DEEPER
Godly wisdom teaches us over and over again the important life lesson, “it’s not about you!”
-In your daily life do you tend to evaluate everything by how it affects you or others?
-What can you do to work at focusing less on yourself and more on God and others?

-How is selfishness contrary to the example and way of Jesus?

Read James 4:1-10 and focus on the differences
-In James 4:4, he calls the readers “adulterous people.” What does he mean?

-How have you been guilty of “cheating on God” in the past or recently?
