1. Before Pastor Robert mentioned angels in his sermon, had you noticed the multiple times angels appeared in the book of Daniel? Why or why not?
2. What is surprising about an angel asking, “How long will they suffer?” When have you
previously thought about angels caring for us? What are the implications of this Biblical truth?
3. What comes to mind when you think of angels? What is it about angels that makes humans encountering them react with fear?
4. Daniel prays and an angel is dispatched from heaven to answer his prayer. What are the implications of this for you and me?
5. How do you think it is possible that we can be touched by an angel? How might that differ from experiencing the presence of the Holy Spirit?
6. What does it look like to live truly believing that God’s got this!” How can we turn our “?” (God’s got this?”) into “!” (God’s got this!)?

PRAY
Lord, thank you for the presence of angels in the book of Daniel…this incredible reminder of Your love for Your people and Your sovereign hand that controls all things. May we live confident of your goodness and care, knowing moment by moment that you’ve got this.
