Have everyone spend time reading Acts 6:1-7 quietly to themselves. After a few minutes, either have one person read the passage for the group or have each person take turns reading a portion until the entire passage has been read.

What secondary issues hinder your church from fulfilling Acts 1:8? Find scriptures in the New Testament that tell us about the role of deacons in the church?
Why does God want the apostles or pastors to put their energy and attention on prayer and the ministry of the word? Do you believe most pastors focus on prayer and the ministry of the word or neglect them? Explain
