How is it possible to receive life and blessing if Jesus is calling to come and die?

• Jesus knew he would rise! (8:31) And we will rise too (Romans 6:3-4)
• What are the concerns of God? (8:34-37) YOU are the concern of God!

Denying yourself, taking up your cross, and following Jesus toward his death IS the pathway to TRUE life and blessing!

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God… Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (1 Corinthians 1:18, 20b)
