Titus 2:1-10

  1. Icebreaker: What types of coaching or counsel did you receive when you were entering adulthood? Did you feel empowered or overwhelmed?

  2. In transparency, what specific challenges or pressures do women face that can easily be taken for granted or overlooked?

  3. Why do you think Paul instructed Titus to have the older women invest in the lives of younger women, rather than anyone else?

  4. How critical is it for a girl or young woman to have a mentor (or group of mentors) to guide her in the arenas of home, work, and faith? Explain.

  5. List unique benefits an older or younger woman might expect from participating in an ongoing mentoring relationship. Which of these benefits would you personally want to experience more?

  6. If you’re an older woman, what motivates you to - or keeps you from - making disciples of other women?

  7. In light of this passage, how can we better support and pray for one another? Consider how it’s so easy to isolate and act like things are fine even though that’s not always the reality.
