Chapter Reading
Each week, read one chapter and journal through the Chapter calibration. We encourage you to reach out to those who attended your trip with you. Maybe meet on a regular basis to discuss how God is asking you to shift your perspective.
Chapter Calibration
Calibration is time for prayerful contemplation and discussion with your heavenly Dad to recalibrate your heart to Spiritual True North. Take as much time as you need; be present and listen well. Before you begin, take ten minutes for “Hands up, Hands down” Rhythm of Sonship.
As you begin, invite Jesus into this calibration time:
Jesus, you are always with me. I believe that with all my heart. This space and time are yours. Build your Kingdom here. I recognize your authority, love, and presence above all others. Jesus, I receive your presence and open my heart to you. Lead my heart through the deep waters of my story. Lead my heart to you, your work, and your presence in my story. I want to know your voice. Speak to my heart in the language I know and understand. Show me with clarity the kind of relationship I have with my earthly father. With tenderness, restore to memory the moments of wounding, and unveil the agreements I’ve made about you as my father. Where I am still young, take my hand and lead me. Heal the deep places of my young heart, and set your truth where lies rule. God, father me. Jesus, you are my protector. Set your angels around this space. Protect my heart from all attacks as I explore these moments in my story. I rebuke my imposter and the enemies in Jesus’ name. I bind them in Jesus’ name and put them at your throne for you to deal with. I am yours: spirit, soul and body, heart, mind, and will. In Jesus’ name, I pray all these things. Amen.
