John 8:12 and Matthew 5:14-16

Won’t let Satan blow it out
Shine all over Summerville
When you’re a kid, light
As an adult, we use light to push away darkness, but also to
In other words, our light shifts from being helpful, comforting, useful to us - and starts to be something we can use to also help others (“Let me shed light on that for you.”)
Jesus said two things about the light -
1.
12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” —John 8:12
2.

Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. —Matthew 5: 14-16
I’m gonna let it shine?
1. You can’t hide it
2. You can’t let Satan blow it out
3. You can’t keep it to yourself and wait for someone to notice
