The Flood - Next Steps

Message Summary

Often its difficult to see what God’s plan is. When we sense that God is leading us to do something, we often do not see what the full outcome will be. I can only imagine how Noah felt when God prompted him to build this massive boat. It was not something that was common in his day, to see a ship of that size. Yet he was obedient to the Lord and the Lord proved faithful. This week we took a deeper look into the story of Noah and the Flood.

• Have you ever had to follow God’s direction even in the face of opposition?

• Is it easy or difficult for you to follow God’s leading when you can’t see the outcome? Why do you say that?

Read Genesis 6:9-22

13) What did the Lord promise Noah?

15) How do God’s promises encourage us to move forward with what He’s calling us to do?
