It’s time for us to get serious and committed in the area of our finances. There is no greater time than now to put God first. One of the keys to getting our financial house in order is by living with a heart of giving to God and others. A challenge that keeps us from experiencing the joy of giving is that we often focus on the amount of our gift to God, rather than the measure of the sacrifice. Jesus teaches us from the example of the widow who came to the temple and gave all she had. What will you do?

“Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd…” v.41

2. God does not measure your sacrifice by the size of the gift but by the
“…but she, out of her poverty, put in everything – all she had to live on.” v.44
3. God is able to multiply what you give in someone else’s life.
“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:11
