“YOU’RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER BOX”
Paul Colwell, September 12, 2021

Our God has

. - “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)

Our God everything that is and everything that ever will be, then He created it.

Our God has .

Jesus is the image of the invisible God, for by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, – all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things are held together. (Colossians 1)

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.” (Matt: 10:29)

“He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion in the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6)

O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thoughts from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O Lord, You know it all. (Psalm 139:1-4)

He…comes to us…in

.

He comes to us as

.

Love the Lord your God
Love your neighbor as yourself
Love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
Just as the Father has loved me, I have loved you, abide in My love.
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us.
With all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love.
This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.
Each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.
That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I also have been fully known. But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And finally, conclusively,
God is love.

The final attribute of God is that of Eternal

.

God loves every one of us so much that He to spend forever… with us.

For God so the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have life.

Brennan Manning, “A transforming experience of God’s incomparable glory – awakens a dormant trust. Something is afoot in the universe. Someone filled with transcendent brightness, wisdom, ingenuity, and power and goodness is about. In the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, somewhere deep within us a Voice whispers, “All is well, and all will be well.”

I’m not in control of anything. Nothing at all. But the One who is in control of absolutely everything? He is worthy of that control, and He can be trusted to the uttermost.
