One is Enough
Sermon Series: Following Jesus Together

Scripture: Ephesians 4:1-6

1 Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to live in a manner worthy of the calling with which you were called: with all humility and gentleness, with patience, putting up with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace; one body and one Spirit (just as also you were called with one hope of your calling), one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all.

ONE IS ENOUGH

ONE BODY
Every sincere Christian is a brother or sister to every other sincere Christian. We are ONE in Christ Alone!

ONE SPIRIT
The question when it comes to the Spirit of God is not that “Do I have all of Spirit?”, but “Does the Spirit have all of Me?”

ONE HOPE
The word “hope” means an absolute certainty.
You were called with one hope of your calling…
From the pew to the pulpit, from the local church to the global church, God wants us to look forward to being with Him and to be like Him until we are with Him.

ONE LORD
The word “Lord” is kurios. It means “a compassionate, caring ruler and master”.

ONE FAITH
The knowledge of the ONE Lord comes by way of ONE Faith In HIM.

ONE BAPTISM
Water baptism doesn’t save you. It simply identifies you as a person who has been saved.

ONE GOD and FATHER of ALL
The Fatherhood of God was revealed to us by His Son Jesus. He is our God and Father.
