Kingdom Prayer of Agreement ** PART 1 REVIEW
Matt 18:18-20
Mat 18:15 “If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.
Mat 18:16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’
Mat 18:17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector. —Matt 18:18-20 NIV
Some principles of the Kingdom and conflict,
- 15 *This is not a command by Jesus to point out every fault and flaw or annoyance. Biblical principles for conflict offer two options:
to him or
it. ( Longsuffering ) *
16-18: Two or more is about community rather than dictatorship. Culture of Honor. When two or more investigate they may be able to turn the offender or the offended. Hear both sides. This is not talking to each other in Gossip.
Jesus loved the tax collectors and pagans. We recognize you are not where you should be but we are going to love you and pray for you.
- We need to learn how to place people.
- Vs 17 is a change of place from “MINISTER
Mat 18:18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Mat 18:19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
Mat 18:20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” —Matt 18:18-20 NIV
Kingdom Prayer is Important enough that Jesus said it
.
- “whatever you bind on earth etc. AGAIN I SAY TO YOU ” Listen I’m not kidding around”
- “Again, truly I tell you”
- Jesus didn’t say
you pray He said,
you pray” …
- Mat 6:5, Mat 6:6, Mat 6:7,
Mar 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. —Mark 11:24
Luk 11:2 So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. —Luke 11:2
- This kind only comes out by prayer and fasting…
Mat 17:18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.
Mat 17:19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
Mat 17:20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Mat 17:21 ** However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting**.” —Matt 17:18-21
Kingdom Prayer is
.
- Different instruments same key. IN
.
- there is nothing like the body of Christ together in one place!
- In tune with the Holy Spirit and each other (Vs 15-17 are encouraging unity)
- In one mind and in one place.
- “One voice and everyone asking” not “one speaking and everyone sleeping”.
13 indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, —2 Chronicles 5:13 (NKJV)
Act 2:1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord (OF ONE MIND IN ONE PLACE) in one place.
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. —Acts 2:1-4 NKJV31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. —Acts 4:31 (NKJV)
Prayer in the
is Kingdom prayer of agreement.
- When we don’t know where to start or how to pray.
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. —Romans 8:26
Kingdom Prayer POWER is
when you add more
to your prayer team.
- One believer praying the mind of Christ is powerful, Five is more powerful, One Hundred is Nuclear.
- Two or three is not the standard for the prayer of agreement. Two or three is the minimum standard for the Kingdom prayer of agreement.
8 Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you. —Leviticus 26:8 (NIV)
Kingdom Prayer of agreement happens when
and
and
agree.
- Kingdom prayer puts
at the center and works out from there.
- Agree, Symphony (WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST) Kingdom Mindset, WHAT IS JESUS DOING IN THIS SITUATION, Discernment,
For “WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD THAT HE MAY INSTRUCT HIM?” But we have the mind of Christ. —1Co 2:16
Is Jesus the Lord of your life?
Is He Lord of your situation or have you been trying to do things on your own?
The only way I can expect my prayers to be answered is because Jesus is Lord and
Jesus is here and
Jesus is love
Jesus is my healer
Jesus is my provider
Jesus is my deliverer
Jesus is Alive
Jesus is the light to my path
Jesus is my wine
Jesus is my rock
Jesus is my friend who sticks close and doesn’t abandon me
Jesus is my water when I am thirsty and
Jesus is my daily bread
Jesus is my overwatch when I am sleeping and
He never goes to bed
**PART 2 PART 2 PART 2***
Rom 8:26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
Rom 8:27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.
Kingdom Prayer makes a
on the
of God.
- Just because you are exposed to the word, doesn’t mean you are in agreement with it.
- Praying requests based on God’s word is the easiest way to come into agreement.
- Lord do what your word says.
- A lack of understanding or knowledge of God’s word will defeat agreement in prayer. (KINGDOM PRAYER is the prayer of agreement)
2Co 1:19 For Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not waver between “Yes” and “No.” He is the one whom Silas, Timothy, and I preached to you, and as God’s ultimate “Yes,” he always does what he says.
2Co 1:20 For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.
2Co 1:21 It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us,
2Co 1:22 and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first instalment that guarantees everything he has promised us. —2Co 1:19 -22

Jas 4:1 Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?
Jas 4:2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
Jas 4:3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
Jas 4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? —James 4:1-4

Mat 16:16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Mat 16:18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
Mat 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” —Matt 16:16-19

2Ch 5:1 So Solomon finished all his work on the Temple of the LORD. Then he brought all the gifts his father, David, had dedicated—the silver, the gold, and the various articles—and he stored them in the treasuries of the Temple of God.
The Ark Brought to the Temple2Ch 5:2 Solomon then summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel and all the heads of tribes—the leaders of the ancestral families of Israel. They were to bring the Ark of the LORD’s Covenant to the Temple from its location in the City of David, also known as Zion.
2Ch 5:3 So all the men of Israel assembled before the king at the annual Festival of Shelters, which is held in early autumn.
2Ch 5:4 When all the elders of Israel arrived, the Levites picked up the Ark.
2Ch 5:5 The priests and Levites brought up the Ark along with the special tent and all the sacred items that had been in it.
2Ch 5:6 There, before the Ark, King Solomon and the entire community of Israel sacrificed so many sheep, goats, and cattle that no one could keep count!
2Ch 5:7 Then the priests carried the Ark of the LORD’s Covenant into the inner sanctuary of the Temple—the Most Holy Place—and placed it beneath the wings of the cherubim.
2Ch 5:8 The cherubim spread their wings over the Ark, forming a canopy over the Ark and its carrying poles.
2Ch 5:9 These poles were so long that their ends could be seen from the Holy Place, which is in front of the Most Holy Place, but not from the outside. They are still there to this day.
2Ch 5:10 Nothing was in the Ark except the two stone tablets that Moses had placed in it at Mount Sinai, where the LORD made a covenant with the people of Israel when they left Egypt.
2Ch 5:11 Then the priests left the Holy Place. All the priests who were present had purified themselves, whether or not they were on duty that day.
2Ch 5:12 And the Levites who were musicians—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and all their sons and brothers—were dressed in fine linen robes and stood at the east side of the altar playing cymbals, lyres, and harps. They were joined by 120 priests who were playing trumpets.
2Ch 5:13 The trumpeters and singers performed together in unison to praise and give thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices and praised the LORD with these words: “He is good! His faithful love endures forever!” At that moment a thick cloud filled the Temple of the LORD.
2Ch 5:14 The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the LORD filled the Temple of God. —2 Chronicles 5:1-14 NLT
