DISCUSS
1. Why were you drawn to attend CCC?
2. Robert mentioned the season of discernment of a year and a half ago. Did God reveal anything to you during that season? Did you hear him speak? If so, what did you hear?
3. Can you relate to the question Pastor Robert asked God (“Do I have what it takes?”)? What is the role God is calling you to?
4. What changes might you need to make in order to welcome new people to CCC?
5. Do we try to do too much? What can tempt us to take on roles beyond our gifting and/or capacity?
6. Do you have fears about CCC changing buildings? If so, what are they?
7. What can we do individually to keep the mission of CCC as we transition to a new space?
8. Do you feel like a cistern, praying to be filled up or more like a well, digging deeper and seeking the stream of living water?
9. Can you imagine a life where you are always full of God?
10. Where do you sense God is asking you to go deeper?
PRAY
God, would you help me to seek you as a deep well seeking your living stream and to not act as one who builds cisterns merely hoping to catch water;
God, would you reveal your role for me (as you have done with Robert as pastor);
God, would you show me where and how you want me to go deeper.
