Luke 9:18-36

Luke 9:20 –
Peter answered, “God’s Messiah.”
Luke 9:36 –
A voice came from the cloud, saying: “This is my Son.”
Observations:
1. Jesus prayed about everything. vs. 18 & 28
2. Jesus was and is the Messiah. v. 20
3. Jesus was and is the Son of God. v. 35
4. In spite of all the prophecies, the Disciples did not understand
what Jesus was going to do until He did it. vs. 21 & 36
5. Jesus was teaching His Disciples to be like Him. vs. 22-23
6. Jesus thought His mission was worth giving His life for. v. 22.
7. Jesus thinks His mission is worth giving your life for. vs. 23-26
