EVERYTHING I NEED TO KNOW I LEARNED FROM MOM

Mother’s Day
May 10, 2020 | Pastor Brian

When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.”
(Proverbs 31:26, NLT)

1. YOU ARE SPECIAL BECAUSE NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

“We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19, NIV)

2. YOU ARE NOT GIFTED IN EVERYTHING, BUT YOU ARE GIFTED IN

. USE YOUR GIFTS FOR GOOD.

“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” (1 Peter 4:10, NLT)

3. YOU NEED TO

AND LEARN HOW TO WITH OTHERS.

“Then he returned to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. And his mother stored all these things in her heart. Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.” (Luke 2:51–52, NLT)

4. IN LIFE, YOU’RE GOING TO NEED SOME GOOD

.

“You are better off to have a friend than to be all alone, because then you will get more enjoyment out of what you earn. If you fall, your friend can help you up. But if you fall without having a friend nearby, you are really in trouble.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10, CEV)

5. YOU’RE NOT REALLY READY TO LIVE UNTIL YOU’RE

.

“Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”” (John 11:25–26, NLT)

LAST THOUGHT:
THE BEST WAY TO TELL MOM THANKS
IS TO LIVE A LIFE THAT WOULD MAKE HER PROUD.
