Being Faithful In A Faithless World 
The Invisible War – Part 6

Jesus: …when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth? Luke 18:8
  
GOD IS LOOKING FOR FAITHFUL PEOPLE 
For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.  2 Chronicles 16:9  
 

FAITHFUL PEOPLE ARE HARD TO FIND 
Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find?  Proverbs 20:6  

2 God looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. 3 Everyone has turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.   
Psalm 53:2-3  

 

FAITHFULNESS IS THE KEY TO VICTORY AND BLESSING 
4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.  
1 John 5:4-5  
 
 A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.  Proverbs 28:20  
 
 

 
 HOW CAN I BE FAITHFUL TO GOD? 

GOD USES LITTLE THINGS TO TEST MY INTEGRITY 
Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.  Luke 16:10 
 
And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own? Luke 16:12   

 
GOD USES MY TALENTS TO TEST MY UNSELFISHNESS 
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.  1 Peter 4:10 
 
Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.  1 Corinthians 4:2  

 
GOD USES TOUGH TIMES TO TEST MY PERSISTENCE 
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.  2 Corinthians 4:16-18 

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.  Galatians 6:9  
 
 
 

GOD USES SHORTAGES TO TEST MY GENEROSITY 
9 I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. 
10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?12 And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own? 
13 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.  Luke 16:9-13 

Obeying God’s Vision will bring God’s Provision 
 

When I do all God tells me to do, he does what I can’t do! 
 

God gives more to generous people! 
 

When I have a need, I sow a seed 
 

There’s always a delay between sowing & reaping 
 

 
FAITHFUL PEOPLE BRING FRIENDS TO JESUS 
Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”  Matthew 9:2   
 

FAITHFUL PEOPLE BUILD THE FAITH OF OTHERS 
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. 
2 Timothy 2:2 
 
“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.32But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”  Luke 22:31-32
