Psalm 22

“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 (ESV)

34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Mark 15:34 (ESV)

There were three Great Mysteries wrapped up in this statement from the cross…

1.- The Mystery of the

the Cross

• Darkness of

“Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope,” Romans 8:20 (NLT)

“the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.” Romans 8:21 (NLT)

• Darkness of
