Walking in Spiritual Confidence

What must I do to be saved?
• Acts 16:31 - believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved!
• Ephesians 2:8-9 - salvation is a gift, through grace.
• John 3:16 - believe in Him and have eternal life
• John 14:6 - Jesus is the way (no one goes to the Father except through him)
• Romans 10:9 - confess with your mouth, believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord
• Romans 11:29 - The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable
• John 10:28 - no one will snatch people from Jesus’ grasp
• Romans 8:38-39 - nothing can separate a child of God from the Father’s love

Sanctification:
“a progressive work of God and man that makes us more and more free from sin and like Christ in our actual lives.” - Dr. Wayne Grudem

2 Peter 1:8
For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:9
For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins.

Have you forgotten the Gospel?

2 Peter 1:10
Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.

Jude 1:24-15
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
