February 28th Weekend
NIGHT OF WORSHIP & PRAYER
Worshiping God is a Big Deal! We will be having a Night of Worship & Prayer on March 7 at 7 p.m. at the South Kokomo campus’ Main Auditorium. If you can’t join us in person, we will stream this event at ecrossroads.tv, our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. There will be no childcare or children programming offered. We encourage families to worship together.
CRY OUT: 28 DAYS OF PRAYER
We’re inviting everyone at Crossroads to participate in a special prayer emphasis as we head into Easter. Starting March 7th, you can receive prayer prompts via text at a designated time each day. To sign up, text “pray” and the time of day you wish to receive the text to 765-453-4626. For example “pray 7:00pm” (be sure to include a space between the word and the time.)
CRASH COURSE
Crash Course is an interactive 4-week group setting that will help you grow in your faith and connect at Crossroads. A new session starts today, March 7, at both campuses. Learn more and sign up at ecrossroads.org/connect.

Dragons: Distraction
We are all vulnerable to the dragon of
The problem is what our distractions are pulling us away
If the devil can’t get me to sin, he’s content to just keep me
Matthew 4
2 For forty days and forty nights He fasted and became very hungry. 3 During that time the devil came and said to Him, If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.
1 Thessalonians 2:18
Paul is telling the church folks in Thessalonica that they wanted to come to visit them.
We wanted very much to come to you, and I, Paul, tried again and again, but Satan prevented us.
Mark 4
3 Listen! A farmer went out to plant some seed. 4 As he scattered it across his field, some seed feel on a footpath, and the birds came and ate it.
5 Other seed fell on shallow soil with underlying rock. The seed sprouted up quickly because the soil was shallow. 6 But the plant soon wilted under the hot sun, and since it didn’t have deep roots, it died.
7 Other seed fell among thorns that grew up and choked out the tender plants so they produced no grain.
8 Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they sprouted, grew, and produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted!
14 The farmer sows the word. 15 Some people are like the seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.
18 Still others, like seed sown among the thorns, hear the word; 19 but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.

Genesis 2
9 The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground – trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden He placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
16 But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden – 17 except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”
