The aim of true friendship is to be the kind of friend you want to have. The best friend you can have is Jesus.
Proverbs 22:11—The qualities of a true friend are pure motives and pure speech.
Friend—רֵעַ (re’a) is persons with whom one is brought into contact with.
Leviticus 19:18—Not who is my friend but am I friendly (neighborly)?
Impure motives:
Proverbs 16:29—Conniving

Impure speech:
