Luke 6:37-38 (New Living Translation)
37 “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

1. Read Luke 6:37. Give examples of how Christians can unfairly judge individuals and groups of people. How does being judgmental affect generosity? Even though this verse states Christians should not judge one another, does this apply to all circumstances? Please explain your reasoning.
2. In the words of Jesus in verse 37 why should we forgive others? Does Jesus’ statement surprise or concern you? Why can it be incredibly difficult to forgive other people? How does forgiving others demonstrate generosity and an attitude like Jesus’?
3. Read Luke 6:38. Regarding giving and generosity, how and when does a Christian’s gift return to them in full? What does this verse show us about reaping and sowing and what does it look like to have a kingdom character when sowing?
4. Did anything else stand out to you from the sermon that you have questions about in this passage of scripture?
