Hebrews 10:4-7
It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:
“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but a body you prepared for me;
with burnt offerings and sin offerings
you were not pleased.
Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll—
I have come to do your will, my God.’”

Psalm 139:13-16 NLT
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.

Hebrews 10:7
“Then I said, ‘Here I am…I have come to do your will, my God.’”

1 Corinthians 12:27
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

>> The Church is:

1) A body with Christ as the

Ephesians 1:22-23
God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

2) A body that’s made up of many

1 Corinthians 12:12-13a, 14
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body…Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.

3) A body whose parts all have a

1 Corinthians 12:17-20
If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

4) A body that must together

1 Corinthians 12:21-22a
The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable…

5) A body that is truly

1 Corinthians 12:26
If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
