The Secret - “Secret Ingredients”

Philippians 4:12 (NIV) I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned “the secret” of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

  • The only secret worth knowing is the one that leads to

    .

  • - the mental, emotional, and spiritual state that results from being “ok” with what currently is.

Matthew 6:19-21 & 24 (NIV) “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

Acts 20:35 And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

2 Corinthians 6:11-13 Oh, dear Corinthian friends! We have spoken honestly with you, and our hearts are open to you. There is no lack of love on our part, but you have withheld your love from us. I am asking you to respond as if you were my own children. Open your hearts to us!

2 Timothy 2:15 (BSB) & 1 Thess. 5:17 (NIV) Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the word of truth & Pray continually.

Galatians 5:22-23 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

  • The ingredients don’t equal , but they prepare us for it.
