Luke 12:49-59

The reality is that you cannot hear about Jesus Christ and remain the same. He draws a line in the sand. Either we can cross the line and receive salvation or stay where we are and face judgment. The remarkable aspect of God is that He gave us the right to choose.

Jesus’ coming draws a line that forces us to choose.
The consequence of that choice may cause us to lose relationships.
If we analyze weather patterns to order our life, how much more should we pay attention to the signs of His second coming?
If we are quick to settle civil matters, how much more ought we to make peace with God?

He came to start a fire – start one (keep it going)
He came to bring division – do not fear what people do
