Thessalonians 4:1-8

1. In what settings am I most often tempted to believe the lie that I am smarter than God?

2. In what areas of my life do I consistently justify the lie that my plans and solutions for my life are superior to God’s clear commandments and prohibitions?

3. Do I see God’s prohibitions as negatively limiting in my life or, do I see them clearly as divinely created boundaries from a Heavenly Father who is seeking to love and protect me through each command?

4. Today: What decisive steps of faith will I take to turn from a specific area of my life that the Holy Spirit is encouraging me to surrender to God’s clear will as revealed in the Bible?
