THE GREAT SUSTAINER

Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. —Psalms 55:22

LEGACY

LEGACY DEFINED: Something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor from the past.

HE SUSTAINS US THROUGH REDEMPTION

And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations. —Isaiah 61:4

16  But Ruth said: “Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; for wherever you go, I will go; and wherever you lodge, I will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.
17  Where you die, I will die, and there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts you and me.” —Ruth 1:16 - 17

And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath. —Joshua 2:11

In Him we have redemption through His
blood, the forgiveness of sins, according
to the riches of His grace —Ephesians 1:7

Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. —Hebrews 9:12

13  Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 
14  that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. —Galatians 3:13 - 14

In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. —Colossians 1:14

19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,
21  in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 
22  in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. —Ephesians 2:19 - 22

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. —Psalms 127:1
