We’re often trained to avoid admitting guilt. For example, insurance companies tell us to provide facts but never say anything like “It was my fault” when discussing a car accident. What are the potential costs of admitting guilt in our society? With God?

Why is ongoing repentance necessary to experience life with God? What does it take to see our guilt and accept responsibility for our sins when we stray from God and are ignorant of our condition?
