Life is an adventure when we follow Jesus.

Paul’s adventure.

“…He took the disciples with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord.” —Acts 19:9-10

Epaphras

You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf, and who also told us of your love in the Spirit. —- Colossians 1:7-8

Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured. I vouch for him that he is working hard for you and for those at Laodicea and Hierapolis. —- Colossians 4:12-13

Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends you greetings. —- Philemon 1:23

Let’s Talk About It

Life is an adventure when we follow Jesus. Stay close with him on this journey by praying consistently, vigorously, and specifically. As you do so, your relationship with Jesus deepens and you’ll potentially see breakthrough happen in your life and in the lives of others.

Acts 19:9-10; Colossians 1:7-8; Colossians 4:12-13; Philemon 1:23

  • Which part of the message made an impact, caught your attention, or challenged you?

  • What is your prayer life like now? Of the three, would you like to grow more in praying more consistently, vigorously, or specifically??

  • Is there anything you’ve been wrestling in prayer for by yourself, but now you’d like others to support you in prayer for??

  • Is there anything that you’ve been praying for broadly, but now you’re led now to pray for it more specifically??

Here’s My Prayer

  • Thank you Lord for being with me in the journey of my life. You’ve been by my side through the ups and downs, and you’ve carried me through it all. You’ve shown yourself so faithful. God, I know that you love and care for me. You see what I’m going through. I am concerned about [what you’re going through]. Can you please intervene and show yourself real in this situation? I need you Lord. I trust that you can [what you hope to see happen]. I know that you see [person’s name] as well, for they are going through [situation], can you please intervene in their life and show yourself real to them? I trust that you can [what you hope to see happen]. May they experience your love and presence in their life. I know you can. In Jesus name, amen.
