“Gospel” = “Good News”

Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” —Mark 1:14

We Can’t Share The Gospel Without Talking About The Blood of Jesus.

Jesus’ Blood…

  1. Reminds Us That DEATH Is Our Inheritance.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. —Romans 3:23
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned…. —Romans 5:12
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. —Ephesians 2:1

  2. Proves He LOVES Us Enough To Die For Us.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ…. 12 remember that you were at that time separated from Christ … having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. —Ephesians 2:4
And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, 28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. —Matthew 16:27
looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. —Hebrews 12:2

  3. Offers Us Eternal LIFE In Him!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. —John 3:16
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. —1 John 1:7
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. —John 15:5
