How do we prepare for spiritual battle?

WE NEED TO REALIZE THERE REALLY IS AN ENEMY

Demonic beings

Spiritual forces that do not serve the triune God are our enemies

WE NEED TO RECOGNIZE THE NATURE OF THE CONFLICT

Not believing in the devil or “believing in him too much”

Overt and subtle demonic attacks (2 Timothy 2:26)

WE NEED TO PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD

Six pieces of armor

The armor is given to us by God

Every part of the armor is important

WE MUST TAKE A STAND AGAINST THE EVIL ONE

The armor is to be used in battle

What does it mean to “take a stand?”
