Flow (The HOLY SPIRIT) naturally transforms an ordinary person into someone extraordinary.
Flow (The HOLY SPIRIT) is the doorway to the ‘more’ most of us seek.
Some believers don’t encounter the power of the Spirit because they are not engaged in the mission of the Spirit.
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. —Romans 8:14 NIV
The Normal Christian life is following the Spirit of God and living in HIS power.
Luke draws a number of parallels between the things Jesus did in the power of the Spirit in Luke and things that the church did in the power of the Spirit in Acts.
Jesus depended on the power of the Spirit. If He did, how much more should we?
Am I willing to wait for
?
I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”
—Luke 24:49 NIV“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” —Acts 1:4-5 NIV
Am I ready to receive
?
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; —Acts 1:8 NIV
Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. —Acts 2:2-4 NIV
D.L. Moody said this…
The Holy Spirit IN us is one thing; and the Holy Spirit ON us is another; and if these Christians had gone out and went right to preaching then and there, without the power, do you think the scene would have taken place on the DAY of Pentecost?
I think it is clearly taught that in the Scripture that every believer has the Holy Spirit dwelling IN them.
God has a great many sons and daughters without power.
Am I needing
again?
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. —Acts 4:31 NIV
Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit… —Ephesians 5:18 NIV
And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. —Acts 13:52 NIV
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of the people, —Acts 4:8 NIV
Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led around by the Spirit in the wilderness —Luke 4:1 NIV
