The Apostle Paul does not have long to live. What are his final instructions to Christians, his “message in a bottle” to the rest of us?

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Ephesians 4:1

Be completely humble and gentle, be patient bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep unity through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:2-3

Make every effort to keep unity through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit- just as you were called to one hope when you were called- One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:3-6

- Please read Ephesians 4:1-6. What is something that stood out to you in the sermon? How can you practically “make every effort to keep unity in Christ?”
- Paul spent the first three chapters telling us who we are in Christ. How does knowing who we are in Christ help us live in unity? Make a list of things that you think unify the Church.
- What are your biggest distractions from living into your purpose as a follower of Jesus?
4. In what relationship(s) are you struggling to live in unity? What is one thing you can apply from this passage to help you move towards unity in that relationship?
