HAPPY EASTER!

Do You Believe In Miracles?
Faith to Move Mountains and Witness Miracles.

Matthew 21:21-22 NLT
21 Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. 22 You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

Miracle: an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs.

John 20:1-9 NLT
Early on Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. 2 She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, “They have taken the Lord’s body out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!” 3 Peter and the other disciple started out for the tomb. 4 They were both running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He stooped and looked in and saw the linen wrappings lying there, but he didn’t go in. 6 Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, 7 while the cloth that had covered Jesus’ head was folded up and lying apart from the other wrappings. 8 Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed— 9 for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead.

“I am a scientist. Still, on Easter, I celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead about 2,000 years ago. Jesus was a real person in history who died. Several manuscripts from multiple sources, including Jewish historians, describe a man named Jesus who lived and was executed. The early accounts of the Resurrection and prophecies predicting it were reliably transmitted through history. As of 2014, more than 66,000 early manuscripts are known. The final verdict, for me, is that the Resurrection makes sense through the lens of history.
So, we are left with an invitation. Will we too believe? Will we respond with trust?” - Joshua Swamidass, published on the website of the Veritas Forum

Benefits of believing in Jesus Christ…

1. MY SINS ARE FORGIVEN.

Acts 10:43 NCV
“…All who believe in Jesus will be forgiven of their sins through Jesus’ name.”

Romans 3:22 NLT
“We are made right in God’s sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done!”

2. GOD’S PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE IS REVEALED

Colossians 1:16 MSG
“Everything, absolutely everything… got started in Christ and finds its purpose in him.”

Ephesians 1:11 TPT
“Through our union with Christ we too have been claimed by God as his own inheritance. Before we were even born, he gave us our destiny; that we would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in his heart.”

3. I RECEIVE GOD’S STRENGTH EVERYDAY

Isaiah 40:29 NLT
“God gives power to those who are tired and worn out, and he offers strength to the weak.”

Ephesians 1:19-20 TLB
“I pray that you will begin to understand how incredibly great his power is to help those who believe him. It is that same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead!”

Philippians 4:13 NKJV
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

4. I AM PROMISED ETERNAL LIFE.

John 11:25-26 TLB
“Jesus said “I am the one who raises the dead and gives them life again. Anyone who believes in me, even though he dies shall live again. He is given eternal life for believing in me and shall never perish.”

John 3:16 NIV
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever BELIEVES in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

So do you believe in Jesus?
And do you believe in the miracle working power of Jesus?

In order to believe in Him like the Bible describes, I believe it can be summed up in one word - TRUST.

What does it mean to trust in Jesus Christ?

T - Turn
Romans 10:9 NLT
“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and BELIEVE in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

R - Rest
Ephesians 2:8-10 MSG
Saving is all God’s idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role.

U - Use
Ephesians 2:10 CEV
God planned for us to do good things and to live as he has always wanted us to live. That’s why he sent Christ to make us what we are.

S - Suffer
Philippians 1:29 NLT
“For you have been given not only the privilege of BELIEVING in Christ but also the privilege of SUFFERING for him.”

1 Peter 3:14 NLT
“But if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t be afraid and don’t worry.”

T - Trust
Psalm 33:4 NLT
“For the word of the Lord always holds true, and everything he does is worthy of our trust.”

Will you trust Jesus today?

John 1:12
“To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, Jesus gave the right to become children of God.”
