Introduction of the King
May 9, 2021

Revelation 5:5. “the LION of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David,…”

Who is this King…:
- John 3: 16, - ”the only begotten (monogenes) …”
- the only that comes out of the Father
- Colossians 1: 15:20
- the image of the invisible God
- by Him ALL things were crated
- for Him ALL things were created
- He IS BEFORE all things (eternal)
- in Him ALL things hold together
- He is the HEAD of the body (church)
- He is the BEGINNING
- First born from the dead
- He is TOP RANK
- FULLY GOD.

King David, of the tribe of Judah
Two acts that changed history and made The heart of YHWH resonate

  1. 1 Samuel 18:7
“Saul has struck down his thousands, and David his ten thousands”
Michal, Saul’s daughter is given to David as wife.
In all battles against the Philistines, David is victorious
and king Saul becomes more jealous and afraid of David
2 Samuel 6:12 Bringing the Ark from Obed-Edom
Back to the city of David (Jerusalem)
And David is doing this in STYLE…
    a. The nation celebrates.
    b. Extreme sacrifices: every 6 steps an ox and a fattened cow
    c. Half Naked, King David leaps and dance before YHWH
    Message to the nation:
The King of Israel is like a fool compared to YHWH ADONAI
He realigns the right perspective in the minds of people regarding their GOD.
This is HUGE in the eyes of God.

  2. 2 Samuel 7:
King David sees where he lives and where God lives.
He lives in a palate, and God in a tent.
His desire is to build YHWH a temple.
God’s reaction: “ your throne will be established FOREVER”
In other words, for eternity, a offspring of David will be on the throne
This is a UNILATERAL, UNCONDITIONAL COVENANT.
    Very seldom God does that.
    David’s reaction: (pharaprased)
“Oh God…! This is how you treat men???”
My answer would be : YES!!!

Two Kingdom Principles
(number 3 and 4)
from a forefather of Jesus King David, “Men after God’s own heart”

  1. When one restores God’s honor in the hearts of the people,
God’s rewards and blessings over him and his offspring,
    flow till eternity…(never ends)

  2. When one thinks and prioritize God’s desires as preeminent
(more important than his own) God will reward that person
and his offspring’s with a covenant that flows in eternity.
In king’s David case the covenant was unilateral.

The issue of Epigenesis.
EPIGENETICS
How, probably, that was considered by God when he made that Covenant with David

EPIGENETICS :
- the study of how the environment, behaviour and other factors can change the way that genes are expressed.
The way a parent lives, influences the behaviors of the child.

Huge virtues accrued by parents have effects over multiple generations, regarding the way they behave and live.

David’s intense desire to restore God’s honor in the mind and hearts of the people, and his intentional priority of God’s desires, changed his genetic information and
God was determined to unconditionally grant him a eternal scepter of rulership.
This is HUGE!!!
AND THE LESSON IS HUGE!

First recorded words of Jesus In The Gospel of Matthew

Matthew 3: 15
“Let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill All righteousness”.

Word of the day :
ORDER
a. - Pieces in right place
b. - Sequential order

In God’s kingdom all things have to be done in sequential Order, and in it’s proper place.
Only this way righteousness Is fulfilled.

Principle 5:
In the Kingdom, all things run orderly and in time, no matter the rank.
