MY STORY
-Where is your ideal location for going on a walk?

-If you could go on a 1-hour walk with anyone from the past, famous or not, who would you choose? Why?

QUICK REVIEW
Sunday’s message was a challenge to consider who influences us for good and for bad.
Read Proverbs 13:20 and focus on the contrast.
-Was there anything from the passage or Sunday’s message that confused you, challenged you, or encouraged you toward a next step with God? What was it?

DIGGING DEEPER
In the Old and New Testaments, in the Hebrew and Greek languages, the word “walk” is used as a synonym for live.
Read 1 John 2:6.
Now read the English Standard Version translation, a more word for word approach:
Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
This is why our relationship with God is often referred to as “our walk” by Christians.
-How does thinking of your relationship with God as “walking with God” shape the way you think about relating to God?

-How is your “walk with God” shaped by the other people you walk with in life?

-How is your “walk with God” shaping the lives of others?

TAKE IT HOME
Write down your 5 greatest daily influences. This can be people you “walk with,” people you read, people you podcast, people you get your news from, etc.

-Who are they? Are they wise of foolish? Based on your answers what do you need to do more of and what do you need to do less of?
