1). Spiritual Disciplines
Jesus utilized them

Training over trying
Paul…training

All of life vs dualism
Step back/ step forward

Season, where you need to grow, start small
Lent…40 days

2). Scripture

Jesus the Living Word, used Scripture
Shows how he thought about it
Put in the the work

We are inundated
We also have the Word so close
Let’s cling to it

3). Temptation

Jesus didn’t mess around
Could have

Let’s not flirt with it

4). Jesus did it for us
He was pure
So I am

We are in this battle until the end
Take courage
