The LORD tells Abram that He is Abram’s shield. What does this look like in your life? How has the LORD protected you? The LORD also tells Abram that He is Abram’s reward. What does this mean? How does our perspective shift when we keep our relationship with the LORD as our reward?
Abram is concerned about an heir. How does the LORD respond to his questions? Why do you think the LORD is so patient with questions? Can you share a time when you had to wait on the LORD? What did you learn in the process?
Verse 6 says “Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness. How does faith lead to righteousness? What are the areas where you are trusting the LORD today?
