Seeking, Exploration, Transformation, or Multiplying
Main Idea:
Jesus did not come to die so you can just know about Him…
He came so that you could be LIKE him.
1. When I experience the 3rd chair of transformation, I become more like Jesus
Colossians 1:22-23
22 yet He has now reconciled you in His body of flesh through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach— 23 if indeed you continue in [a]the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you have heard… NASB
2. When I participate in the 4th chair of multiplication, I continue the work he started…Which is the whole point of him coming.
Matthew 28:18-20
Great Commission
18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,[b] baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. NLT
Matthew 5:13-16
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 14 “You are the light of the world. THE POINT:
My willingness to step out and disciple someone else will be the difference in their life
Whether or not I participate in the mission of the gospel will either leave people forgiven or unforgiven…
Challenge:
Determine what chair you are stuck in and what you need to do to move to the next one.
