
The Waiting Game
(Luke 24:49 NLT) “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”

(Acts 1:12-13 NLT) Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, a distance of half a mile. 13 When they arrived, they went to the upstairs room of the house where they were staying.
(Luke 24:52-53 ESV) And they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, 53 and were continually in the temple blessing God.

(Hebrews 11:1 NIV) Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
(Romans 8:24-25 NLT) We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. 25 But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)
