Fear causes us to pull back

But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” He said, “But I will be with you…” (Exodus 3:11-12, ESV)

But Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.” (Exodus 4:10, ESV)

Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.” (Exodus 4:11-12, ESV)

And the angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, “The Lord is with you, O mighty man of valor.” (Judges 6:12, ESV)

And he said to him, “Please, Lord, how can I save Israel? Behold, my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” (Judges 6:15, ESV)

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9, ESV)

You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9)

You are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27)

You are an ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20

You are a joint heir with Christ (Romans 8:17)

You are a member of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27)

You are COMPLETE in Him (Colossians 2:10)

…And you are not a mistake (Jeremiah 1:5)

Fear disguises itself through Criticism

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10, ESV)

Fear can manifest as control

Fear can cause people to move ahead of Gods timing

Fear of punishment - How do you see your father?

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8, NIV)
