Using Angels to Defeat the spirit of FEAR & the spirit of EXHAUSTION
Matthew 4:11
11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
JESUS - the Son of God - the Word made flesh - NEEDED ANGELS to minister to Him as He lived AS man anointed by God.
~~ Angels are present in our everyday lives, whether we realize it or not ~~
Two of the most COMMON AREAS of DEMONIC INFLUENCE in Christians lives that cause them to invite defeat =
- FEAR - IF THE DEVIL CANNOT SCARE YOU AWAY FROM GOD’S ASSIGNMENT
- EXHAUSTION - HE WILL TRY TO MAKE YOU SO TIRED THAT YOU DON’T WANT TO DO IT.
ANGELS SHOW UP THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT ON ASIGNEMENT TO DO ONE OF TWO THINGS:
- decimate fear through their weapons of words.
- strengthen someone who is facing spiritual, natural, emotional exhaustion.
:: MANY BELIEVERS HAVE ACCEPTED FEAR OR ACCEPTED EXHAUSTION AS NATURAL ISSUES::
And have come to the conclusion that they cannot defeat these things…

“Said” does not mean they just spoke it - that would be the Greek word “milo”…
the angels use the word “epo” = command, grant. - THEY RELEASED PEACE!
MARY AND JOSEPH
Luke 1:30
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
Here “said” is “lego” = giving a conclusion, to call and name.

THE ANGEL was speaking over her identity. You are not a fearful person.
:: WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU “feel” AFRAID of the SUPERNATURAL ::
1. FEAR and TREPIDATION (two different things)
The natural inclination when we experience something that is foreign to us is to be concerned / nervous / cautious…

He wants to pervert a healthy tendency to be wise and be led into BE AFRAID AND DON’T MOVE!
GOD SENDS ANGELS to show us and remind us of the authority we have...
EVERY TIME angels showed up in the story of Jesus their main purpose was
TO RELEASE: “DO NOT FEAR!”
2 Timothy 1:7
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
FEAR is a SPIRIT and IT IS NOT a SPIRIT of GOD.
Daniel 10:12
12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
Said = “amar” it is an UTTERANCE that changes an ATMOSPHERE or a COUNTENANCE

2. FEAR COMMONLY SHOWS UP AS “FEAR OF WHAT PEOPLE
Proverbs 29:25

Satan’s purpose is to keep believers in slavery so we don’t operate in authority.

If you don’t get free from the fear of man, you’ll never fulfill the commandments of Jesus! The fear of man gives people more power than God in our lives.
3. FEAR is many times MISINTERPRETED
DOUBLE VISION is so important
- LOOK BY FAITH AND NOT BY
Proverbs 3:5 - 6
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

- It takes TRUST to lean on something…
“UNDERSTANDING” = binah -
- The word “binah” comes from Hebrew word “between” (beyn) and implies the ability to distinguish the real from the unreal, true from false, tradition from truth.
- OUR OWN UNDERSTANDING = taking every feeling, every thing we see, every NATURAL CIRCUMSTANCE and making it be our primary information.

- This is when you march toward or march away from a challenge.
ACKNOWLEDGE HIM =
The issue… we acknowledge the problem, we acknowledge the predicament, we acknowledge the fear more than we acknowledge God.
- “DOUBLE VISION” is saying - “YES, THE CHALLENGE EXISTS - BUT GOD IS GREATER THAN THE CHALLENGE!”
MAKE your path STRAIGHT =
- This means it was not straight in the natural.
WHEN WE ACKNOWLEDGE THE SUPERNATURAL REALM AND WHAT GOD HAS DONE AND WHAT GOD’S AGENTS ARE DOING…. - GOD MAKES THE DIFFICULT PATH ONE THAT CAN BE SMOOTH
As the master of PERVERSION, the devil’s job is to MANIPULATE AND PERVERT things… and make what should be excitement into fear!!
WHEN FEAR SEEMS TO BE ON AND ABOUT EVERYTHING take these steps..
- Speak the Word - angels “harken” to the voice of the Word.
- Assign angels - ACKNOWLEDGE and assign them to do what they do.
- Ask God to open your spiritual sight -
- Close your eyes and see by faith!

:: WHY EXHAUSTION IS SO DANGEROUS ::
1. WE DO NOT
- CALL ON YOUR ANGELS TO STRENGTHEN YOU!
- LAUGH AT THE DEVIL AND SAY “THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH”
- GET UP AND TELL YOUR BODY HOW TO ACT!
2. EXHAUSTION WILL LEAD TO
If the DEVIL can convince you that your current level of exhaustion is NORMAL, NATURAL and REAL…..HE CAN CONVINCE YOU TO LET GO OF YOUR AUTHORITY AND POWER AND BECOME A SLAVE
Romans 12:9 - 11 Passion
Let the inner movement of your heart always be to love one another, and never play the role of an actor wearing a mask. Despise evil and embrace everything that is good and virtuous. Be devoted to tenderly loving your fellow believers as members of one family. Try to outdo yourselves in respect and honor of one another. 3. APATHY WILL LEAD TO

You have LET GO OF SEEING IN THE SUPERNATURAL SO MUCH that you are letting go of your identity.
4. DEPRESSION GIVES FULL ACCESS TO THE SPIRIT OF

So when you are feeling that exhaustion…
- EXPOSE IT FOR WHAT IT REALLY IS!!!
- SEE IN THE SUPERNATURAL REALM!
- DECLARE OVER YOURSELF WHAT GOD SAYS:
- COMMAND ANGELS TO COME AND STRENGTHEN YOU:
- RELEASE JOY BY LAUGHING:
REFUSE TO ALLOW THE DEMONIC SPIRIT OF EXHAUSTION TO HAVE RULE OVER YOU!

These are territorial spirits that try to influence culture over an area.
SPIRITS OF POVERTY -

– Baal worship - greed and self-pleasure / mutilation (the prophets of Baal would cut themselves… also would chop off genitals…) / sexual confusion and gender identity
– Molech worship - child sacrifice / not just abortion / giving up children for the sake of work, career / not investing in the child’s purpose, spirituality, etc.
– Ashereth worship - pornography and sexual perversion.
BAAL DEFEATED:: ELIJAH CALLS FOR FIRE TO COME FROM HEAVEN

Seraphim - “Firey ones”. Angels affect the physical world through obedience to the word of God and the response of prayers.
MOLECH DEFEATED:: KING JOSIAH
- Josiah called for the reading of the Word.
- Josiah spread bones in the place - calling it unclean. Demanding people come back to focus on worship.
ASHERETH DEFEATED:: KING HEZEKIAH
- Cleansing of the temple - calling for holiness, exposing the demonic forces…
- Giving to the temple.
- Ordering for destruction of those places.
NOW EACH OF THESE DEMONIC “RULERS OVER” WERE ALSO PHYSICAL MANIFESTATION:
- some were poles, others were statues, some were even close to temples…
WHATEVER YOU SEE WITH YOUR NATURAL EYES THERE IS ALSO A SPIRITUAL TRUTH BEHIND IT:
- When you see a billboard for a strip club - you take authority. You pray and release angels to demolish and decimate!
- When you see a shanty-town, a spirit of poverty - You pray and release angels to break that!
- SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN “HIGH PLACES”-

IT IS something for us to EXPOSE and CONQUER through faith!
