What is our heart?

It is the

of our thinking and emotions and will.

Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life. —Proverbs 4:23

As in water face reflects face,
so the heart of man reflects the man. —Proverbs 27:19

The Importance of the Heart

“Bad, bad,” says the buyer,
but when he goes away, then he boasts. —Proverbs 20:14

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. —Deuteronomy 6:5-6

Folly is bound up in the heart of a child,
but the rod of discipline drives it far from him. —Proverbs 22:15
