This week starts national collection week for Operation Christmas Child There is a Table for supplies to pack boxes out in the table in the lobby, you can pack your own or donate money or items for the youth and/ or FCA Kids to pack. We will be taking donations for FCA until November 14th. But if you want to pack your own we will be accepting packed boxes until Next Sunday November 20th! We are taking them to the collection location the following Monday so please get those back ASAP.

We will begin another membership class starting on November 20th at 3:00 PM and going every Sunday until December 11th. You have to attend all 4 meetings to complete the class. You can sign up on the App or our website, and by testing Mr. Edward. If you were signed up in the past but did not complete the last round of classes please sign up again so we have an accurate headcount!

We are having another paint party, this will be Christmas themed, specifically the highland cow Mrs. Sharon showed at the last one. It will be on December 10th from 10:30-12. This one will be $40 per person and there is a sign up posted to FB and our app. Please sign up for that ASAP so that Mrs. Sharon can start preparing the canvases!

The Youth Christmas Party this year is going to be a Lock-In. It will be on December 16-17th! We are going to have games, an ugly christmas sweater decorating contest, Christmas movies and food and it’s going to be a fun time! Anyone who is in 6th through 12th grade is welcome to come! Even if you don’t come to youth on a regular basis or at all please feel free to come to this!

What you see is not all there is. There is an Inseen battle going on and you have an enemy. But you are not alone in those battles!

[2Ki 6:15-17 ESV] 15 When the servant of the man of God rose early in the morning and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was all around the city. And the servant said, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” 16 He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Your Prayers are far more powerful than you know.

What does the Devil do?
He blinds the minds of Unbelievers.
[2Co 4:4 ESV] 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
He Steal’s God’s Word From You.
[Mat 13:19 ESV] 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path.

He sets traps to ensnare you.
[2Ti 2:26 ESV] 26 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

He fights to stop you.
[1Th 2:18 ESV] 18 because we wanted to come to you–I, Paul, again and again–but Satan hindered us.

He plans to destroy you.
[1Pe 5:8 ESV] 8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

What does he want to devour?

So, how do we do spiritual battle?
[Eph 6:13-18 ESV] 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
