Scripture: Mark 12:28-34
Takeaway: God’s abundant love flows through us and out to the whole world.

Take some time to share:
• One thing that you are thankful for this week.

• One thing you need.

• How can the group help?

Bible Discussion: Read Mark 12:28-34
• How has the power of the word “love” diminished over time? What’s the craziest thing you have heard someone proclaim to “love”?

• How does God’s love differ from the world’s understanding of love

• What does it look like “to love your neighbor as yourself”?

• What does that phrase infer about our own self-worth?

Application:
• How do you go about loving your neighbor?

• Someone in the bible once asked Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?” How do you answer this question?

• Why do you think Jesus highlighted these two as the most important commandments

• How has someone demonstrating love to you impacted your life for the better?

Challenge: Love deeply this week! Remind yourself each day of the abundant love that God has for you and then allow that love to overflow into the lives of those closest to you. Unconditional love catches people off guard…because we are so used to putting parameters around love; surprise people this week!
